Hi, I’m Amanda

I am a UI/UX designer based in New York City. I strive to create beautiful and functional experiences that help people solve challenges in their daily lives. My background in economic analysis, business strategy, and customer research helps me understand and connect with users, which I believe are the most important parts of the design experience.

My interest in design started at a young age when I discovered the blogging world. A decade later, my time spent customizing blog themes and sharing my creative vision online turned into a career in UI/UX design. Most recently, I redesigned the website for an organization that helps students in Ethiopia and Kenya to pursue careers in engineering. My professional and academic experiences have sharpened my ability to connect with people, learn through research, and efficiently solve problems. I am passionate about using these skills to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, singing, dancing, and editing videos of my cat.
